The Cider Country Backyard BBQ at Fullerton Inn, Vermont

Vermont’s biggest backyard barbeque on Sunday is happening at the Fullerton Inn (Chester, Vermont), as it hosts The Cider Country Backyard BBQ.

This Sunday from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., enjoy music from four local acts, great BBQ food from Fullerton Inn, four local beers and good times throughout.

It’s a “Country music fest for the whole family.”

The Eric Grant Band, an up-and-coming country band featured on TLC’s new TV show “On the Fly,” will be the lead act of the event, which will also feature music from The Natalie Turgeon Band, winners of Favorite Vocalist Award at the 2011 Cider Awards, and The Shana Stack Band.

The music will be loud and the food will be good.

Fullerton Inn will be providing the food, including BBQ ribs, BBQ chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs. Need some sweets? How about cotton candy, popcorn, fried dough and ice cream for your sweet tooth.

Now it wouldn’t be a backyard barbeque in Vermont without a quartet of outstanding Vermont beers on tap.

Northshire Brewery from Bennington, Switchback Brewing Company from Burlington, Long Trail Brewing Company from Bridgewater and Harpoon Brewery in Windsor will feature their great beers to keep the good times flowing.

Oh, the cost of admission is just a mere $10 for adults for this event, while kids 12-under $5 and those under 2 are free of charge.

Don’t miss out on the music, food, beer and party!

Fullerton Inn owner Brett Rugg said he’s expecting 500 people for this first year event, an event you certainly do not want to miss.
